Success(es) attributed to the use of this tool
- PREDICT, a project of USAID's Emerging Pandemic Threats (EPT) Program, has contributed to global early warning systems to detect and reduce the impacts of emerging diseases that move between animals and people (zoonotic diseases). PREDICT field teams sampled bats, rodents, primates (human and non-human), livestock, and other animals in zoonotic hotspots in Africa and Asia. PREDICT also developed One Health protocols and trained over 6,500 people in 19 unique One Health topics resulting in 20,000+ One Health training events.
